Salary: £19.25 per hour
Hours: Full-time

Hybrid: Office-based for the first month, then twice a week in the office

About the Role

Join Havering Council’s Exchequer & Transactional Services team to manage invoicing and debt collection across two Councils. You’ll be responsible for raising and recovering debts, handling customer queries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise & collect invoices across multiple services
  Manage debt recovery via County Court, Bailiffs & Debt Agencies
  Handle customer queries via phone & email
  Process payments and chase outstanding debts
  Maintain accurate records & ensure compliance

About You

• 2+ years’ experience in debt collection/credit control (large organization preferred)
• Experience with County Court recovery & Debt Agencies
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Resilient, self-motivated & able to work under pressure
• Oracle Fusion experience (desirable)
