Accountant – Corporate Finance

Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour

Hours: 37 hours MON-FRI

Required ASAP until end of July 2025

Hybrid working is available, but candidates would need to be able to attend the Civic Centre as and when required.

Both posts require experience of local government finance environment, CCAB qualification with evidence of CPD. One post to work on the Housing team, ideally candidates should have experience of Housing Revenue Account, rent setting, service charges, and knowledge of business planning.

The second post is to work on the Children’s Social Care and Education team and while experience of this area is desirable, it is not essential.
