About the Role

Supply Care Solutions is recruiting Early Years Workers to join Rochdale Borough Council’s Early Help & Early Years Service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children aged 0–5 and their families, working as part of a supportive and multi-disciplinary Family Hub team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children aged 0–5 to achieve positive developmental outcomes and improve school readiness.
• Deliver engaging play and learning activities that promote healthy child development.
• Work directly with children, parents and carers across Family Hubs, community settings and family homes.
• Help families access appropriate services and support at the right time.
• Encourage positive home learning environments and strengthen parenting skills.
• Provide both group and one-to-one support to children and families.
• Contribute to reducing inequalities and improving outcomes for children across the community.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to support children and families effectively.

Requirements

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children and families, including those experiencing additional challenges.
• Sound understanding of child development and safeguarding.
• Experience delivering both group and one-to-one support.
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Flexibility and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and families.

Required Documents

• Valid Enhanced DBS suitable for working with children.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Relevant Early Years qualification.
• Two satisfactory references.
• Evidence of relevant experience and training.
