About the Role

Supply Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Estate Management Surveyor to join Haringey Council’s Capital Projects and Property team.

This is a senior-level opportunity to play a key role in managing and enhancing a diverse property portfolio valued at approximately £2.77 billion. You will contribute to strategic property decisions, maximise asset value and support the Council’s wider regeneration, housing, economic growth and public service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the Council’s property portfolio to maximise value, reduce costs and increase returns.
• Identify and implement asset management initiatives and value-enhancing opportunities across the estate.
• Deliver commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and development agreements.
• Act as the Council’s professional property representative across property management, regeneration, development and accommodation projects.
• Support industrial and retail development, land acquisitions and disposals, and office accommodation projects.
• Act as an “intelligent client” to external property managers and professional advisors.
• Support the development and delivery of Haringey’s Property Strategy.
• Lead on budgeting, forecasting and financial management across the property portfolio.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility studies and investment proposals for Programme Boards and Cabinet approval.
• Build effective working relationships with service departments, legal and finance teams, external advisors and key stakeholders.

Requirements

We are looking for a commercially minded property professional with experience in:

• Estate and asset management
• Commercial property transactions
• Regeneration and development projects
• Portfolio management
• Financial analysis and business case preparation
• Stakeholder engagement and partnership working
• Local Authority property environments (highly desirable)
