Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of Manchester City Council for an experienced Community Safety / Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer to join their Community Safety, Compliance & Enforcement Service.
This is a highly visible, community-focused role where you will work directly with residents, businesses and partner agencies to investigate and resolve Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), helping to create safer neighbourhoods across Manchester.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
✅ Manage Anti-Social Behaviour casework using a harm-centred approach
✅ Identify and engage with victims and perpetrators of ASB
✅ Assess vulnerability and make appropriate safeguarding and support referrals
✅ Work in partnership with Greater Manchester Police and other key agencies
✅ Deliver community safety interventions within local neighbourhoods
✅ Issue Community Protection Warnings and Notices where appropriate
✅ Engage positively with perpetrators to encourage behavioural change and compliance
✅ Maintain accurate case records and prepare professional reports
✅ Promote community safety initiatives through events and engagement activities
✅ Drive the Community Safety Partnership Van as required
✅ Requirements
✔ Experience working within Community Safety, Housing, Enforcement, ASB, Safeguarding or a related field
✔ Strong knowledge of Anti-Social Behaviour legislation and community safety practices
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Ability to work confidently with residents, professionals and partner agencies
✔ Experience conducting home visits and community-based interventions
✔ Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
✔ Competent IT skills with experience maintaining accurate case records
✔ Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
✔ Willingness to drive the Community Safety Partnership Van
✔ Flexible approach to working hours
