Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a dedicated care team in Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity to support individuals in achieving greater independence while delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
- ✅ Support service users with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, washing, meal preparation, social activities and managing finances, encouraging independence wherever possible.
- ✅ Administer non-invasive medication in accordance with care plans and organisational procedures.
- ✅ Carry out assessments, maintain accurate records, complete routine checks and report any concerns promptly.
- ✅ Promote dignity, respect, choice and independence, ensuring service users remain at the centre of their care.
- ✅ Contribute to individual care plans and act as a Key Worker where required.
- ✅ Respond appropriately to situations affecting the safety and wellbeing of service users, escalating concerns to senior staff when necessary.
- ✅ Undertake light domestic duties while maintaining high standards of health, safety and hygiene.
- ✅ Support individuals to maintain positive relationships with family, friends and the wider community.
- ✅ Assist with social, recreational and community-based activities identified within individual care plans.
- ✅ Participate in mandatory training and maintain knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and best practice.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
✔ Previous experience working as a Support Worker or within a health and social care setting.
✔ A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔ A good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
✔ A flexible approach to meeting the needs of the service.
