About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for two experienced Support Workers to join an in-house Children’s Home in Hartlepool. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive residential setting, helping to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.

The initial contract is for 8–12 weeks, with the potential for extension for the right candidates. The role involves rotational shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people within a residential setting
• Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of children and young people
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people and support them in achieving positive outcomes
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and independent living skills
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning as required
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to deliver person-centred support

Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting children or young people
• Experience working within a busy Children’s Home or similar residential setting
• A caring, resilient, and flexible approach to supporting vulnerable young people
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Right to work in the UK
