About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and experienced practitioners to join our children’s services team during the busy school summer holiday period.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new flagship service supporting disabled children and young people aged 5–18, delivered within purpose-built, modern children’s centres across London.
You will play a vital role in helping children access a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment, supporting them to enjoy activities, build confidence, and experience positive social interaction. Working directly with children on a 1:1 basis, you will provide tailored support based on individual needs, ensuring every child has a positive and rewarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support to children with additional needs
• Support engagement in structured activities, play, and sensory experiences
• Promote independence, communication, and social development
• Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
• Work closely with families and staff teams to deliver consistent care
• Encourage participation and positive social interaction
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the effective delivery of services
Requirements:
• Experience within Family Support Work, SEN Support Work, Contact Work, Social Work Assistant roles, Early Years, Nursery, or childcare settings
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Experience supporting children with disabilities is highly desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS Certificate

Assignment Details:
• Dates: Monday 27th July – Friday 28th August (5 weeks)
• Hours: 9:00am – 4:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Full-time and part-time shifts available
• Additional half-term opportunities may also be available
