About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 4 Resource Controllers to join a busy team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an office-based role created to support increased workloads resulting from system-related backlogs.
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring all jobs are processed accurately and within agreed timescales. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About Unitas:
Unitas is the newly established housing repairs and maintenance company wholly owned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council. The organisation is responsible for delivering repairs and maintenance services to approximately 18,500 council homes and over 600 public buildings across the city, with a focus on improving housing standards and tenant services.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
β’ Process and manage work orders accurately and efficiently
β’ Ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales and service standards
β’ Monitor workloads and assist with scheduling and resource allocation
β’ Maintain accurate records and update systems accordingly
β’ Liaise with colleagues, contractors, and service users to resolve queries
β’ Support the team in managing high volumes of work arising from system backlogs
β’ Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service requirements
Requirements:
β’ Previous experience in an administrative, scheduling, customer service, or resource planning role
β’ Excellent organisational and time management skills
β’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
β’ Good communication and interpersonal skills
β’ Competent IT skills and experience using computerised systems
β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
β’ Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
