About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Lewisham for 1, potentially 2, experienced GPSC (GP Shared Care) Substance Misuse Recovery Coordinators to join their team on a full-time temporary contract with an immediate start.

Based in Forest Hill, Lewisham, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Recovery Workers with a strong background in substance misuse and GP Shared Care settings.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of adult service users within a GPSC setting, delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey while promoting positive health and wellbeing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of adult service users within a GPSC setting
• Work across GP surgeries and the main office in Forest Hill
• Deliver evidence-based interventions aligned to personalised recovery plans
• Provide harm minimisation advice, recovery support, and structured interventions
• Support service users through community and inpatient detox and rehabilitation referrals
• Work collaboratively with GPs, social care professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation
• Promote positive recovery outcomes and independent living

Requirements:
• Previous experience within a GP Shared Care (GPSC) setting
• Strong understanding of OST (Opiate Substitute Treatment)
• Experience managing complex substance misuse caseloads
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and partner agencies
• Excellent communication and case management skills
• Compassionate, organised, and proactive approach to recovery support
