About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client based in Middlesbrough for a Temporary Agency Administrator position within Children’s Care. This is a full-time, on-site role offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital public service team.

Working under the guidance of a line manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the Children’s Care service, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a wide range of administrative tasks, including answering calls from professionals and the public, reception duties, and managing a centralised email inbox
• Signpost queries, book interpreters, and gather relevant information
• Provide general administrative support such as document management, photocopying, and responding to routine correspondence
• Maintain accurate records using computerised systems and databases (including systems such as Liquid Logic)
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and training sessions
• Use ICT systems including Word, Excel, and internal databases
• Support financial administration, including raising purchase orders
• Assist with training and mentoring colleagues, including creating guidance materials
• Liaise with internal teams and external professionals
• Attend meetings and take notes where required

Requirements:
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Confidence using IT systems and databases
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• A proactive and professional approach, particularly when dealing with sensitive information
