💰 Rate/Salary: £36–£37 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are currently working with Suffolk County Council to recruit an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Adults Integrated Neighbourhood Team. This is a senior-level role where you will play a key part in supporting vulnerable adults while contributing to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services. The position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with approximately 40% home-based working.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting Care Act Assessments
• Completing Mental Capacity Assessments
• Providing duty cover as required
• Supporting and mentoring team members with casework
• Carrying out statutory and reablement reviews
• Managing Direct Payments
• Working effectively with Digital Care systems

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in Adult Services
• HCPC registration
• Strong knowledge of Care Act legislation and safeguarding
• Experience in mentoring or supporting junior staff
• Ability to manage a complex caseload independently
