💰 Rate/Salary: £13.05 per hour (rising to £13.45 from 01/04/2026)

About the Role:
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for Reablement at Home Support Workers across Sunderland. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults in their own homes, helping them regain independence, confidence, and choice following illness or a decline in health.

This is a temporary 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. You will work within dedicated local areas, travelling on foot between homes, delivering compassionate and person-centred reablement support focused on helping individuals rebuild daily living skills and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support customers to develop skills and confidence in daily living activities
• Promote independence, wellbeing, and informed choice
• Encourage progress towards personalised reablement goals
• Deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality care
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive local team

Requirements:
• Compassionate, positive, and motivated approach to care
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to empower and encourage individuals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Up-to-date CV detailing full employment history
• Two satisfactory references
• Current DBS certificate
• Proof of right to work in the UK (no sponsored or restricted visas)
