About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Coastal North Social Care Team on behalf of Suffolk County Council. This is a 6-month approved contract offering the opportunity to work within a supportive children’s services team making a meaningful impact on outcomes for children and families.

The role is based at the Waterloo Centre in Leiston and requires hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a Child in Need caseload
• Complete statutory social work assessments
• Chair and facilitate Child in Need meetings
• Prepare and write Section 7 court reports
• Undertake Child Protection work in line with statutory guidance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with relevant post-qualification experience
• Registered with Social Work England
• Experience managing Child in Need and Child Protection caseloads
• Strong knowledge of statutory children’s legislation and guidance
• Experience preparing court reports (Section 7)
• Ability to manage workload effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Strong assessment and analytical skills
