💰 Salary: £40,777 – £45,091 (Grade 8) + £5,000 Market Supplement

About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions are delighted to present permanent Social Worker opportunities within Children’s Services in Wales. These roles offer long-term stability, manageable caseloads, strong leadership support, and excellent professional development within forward-thinking teams dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families.

We are recruiting across two key service areas:

• Localities Team
• Intake & Assessment Team

Key Responsibilities (Localities Team):
• Manage complex child protection and safeguarding cases
• Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and care planning
• Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
• Support children and families to achieve long-term stability

Key Responsibilities (Intake & Assessment Team):
• Complete Well-being and Section 47 assessments
• Provide short-term, outcome-focused interventions
• Participate in structured duty rota weeks
• Assess risk and make informed safeguarding decisions
• Support families at the earliest point of intervention

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with Social Care Wales registration
• Significant frontline experience in children’s safeguarding and child protection
• Strong assessment, care planning, and report-writing skills
• Confident communicator with good organisational and IT skills
• Ability to work flexibly under pressure within a team environment
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
