About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Long Term Planning Team in Luton. The Adult Social Care Division is committed to promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing for adults with social care needs. The service focuses on empowering individuals to live safe, healthy, and fulfilled lives while remaining active members of their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership on risk management and safeguarding matters
• Promote personalised care pathways that ensure choice and control
• Work collaboratively with partners to influence and shape the local environment
• Support social inclusion and accessibility across the community
• Ensure identified needs are understood at individual and locality level
• Contribute insights to strategic commissioning and service development

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker (Degree/Diploma in Social Work)
• Current Social Work England registration
• Experience within Adult Social Care, ideally long-term planning
• Strong safeguarding, risk assessment, and care planning skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
