About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council for an experienced Senior Commissioning Officer to join the Adult Social Care team, with a specific focus on Supported Living.

This is a project-based role offering flexibility in working arrangements. While hybrid working is preferred, fully remote candidates will be considered. Occasional travel to Solihull may be required for stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop supported living service specifications and contracts
• Engage effectively with providers and key stakeholders
• Prepare robust business cases to support informed decision-making
• Support the development and implementation of supported living contracts
• Contribute to additional commissioning projects as required

Requirements:
• Proven commissioning experience within a Local Authority, specifically Adult Social Care
• Strong understanding of supported living services
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Confident communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ability to produce clear, well-structured, high-quality written documentation

Working Pattern & Flexibility:
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Part-time arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates
• Some flexibility available on pay rates, ideally aligned with the rate stated above
