About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Children’s Safeguarding Social Worker to join Northamptonshire Children’s Trust. This hybrid-working role is vital in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will assess, plan, and implement interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis, working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver social work services in line with legal, statutory, and professional requirements
• Assess, plan, and implement effective safeguarding interventions
• Support families experiencing crisis and ensure the welfare of children is prioritised
• Work collaboratively with professionals across multi-agency teams
• Maintain high standards of professional practice and documentation

Requirements:
• Proven safeguarding experience
• Compliance with DfE requirements
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) – must be clearly stated in application
• Social Work England registration
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in line with service needs

Additional Information:
• Travel Allowance for locums living more than 60 miles from the office: up to £150 per week (£30 per day) with proof of address and line manager approval
