About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Long-Term Children in Care (CIC) Team within Northamptonshire Children’s Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner seeking stability, supportive management, and meaningful long-term involvement with children who are looked after. The team operates from One Angel Square in a modern, collaborative workspace, with hybrid working arrangements in place.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work directly with children in long-term care, ensuring their needs are met and plans progressed
• Contribute to effective care planning, reviews, and multi-agency work
• Attend the office on designated duty days as part of the hybrid schedule
• Maintain high-quality case recording and compliance with statutory requirements

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (preferably on Update Service)
• Strong assessment, planning, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work effectively within a supportive but fast-paced team
