💰 Rate/Salary: £12.65 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting Support Workers for our client in Sunderland to join their resource centre service. This is a highly rewarding role supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health or behavioural needs. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes choice, independence, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs
• Promote independence, engagement, and meaningful daily activities
• Support individuals to make choices and take control of their lives
• Uphold the organisation’s core values: dignity, respect, compassion, professionalism, and responsibility
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment
• Work within the designated rota pattern for day service provision

Requirements:
• A positive, caring, and enabling attitude
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Flexibility and a proactive approach
• Ability to work the required rota pattern
• Two satisfactory references
• Enhanced Adults DBS
• Valid Right to Work documentation (no restricted-hours visas)
