About the Role:
We’re currently recruiting for a Recovery Coordinator to join the dedicated team at North Yorkshire Horizons in Northallerton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multi-agency service committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support for individuals on their recovery journey.

About the Service:
North Yorkshire Horizons is a forward-thinking, recovery-focused service made up of several key partners. The service empowers individuals through a peer-led recovery community, providing a safe and supportive environment to help people develop life skills, build confidence, and achieve long-term abstinence and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive assessments and create tailored support plans
• Deliver harm reduction advice, needle exchange services, and crisis case management
• Facilitate structured one-to-one and group interventions
• Support individuals from initial engagement through to sustained recovery
• Contribute to the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) cover rota
• Work collaboratively within a multi-agency, recovery-focused team

Requirements:
• Experience working within substance misuse, mental health, or support services
• Strong understanding of recovery models, harm reduction, and client engagement
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Compassionate, non-judgemental, and person-centred approach to care
