About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of Brent Council for an experienced Housing Resolutions Officer to join their Accommodation Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to help households in temporary accommodation access settled housing solutions while contributing to a dynamic and diverse London borough.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored housing options advice to households in temporary accommodation
• Promote move-on into private, intermediate, or social housing
• Conduct tenancy audits and help resolve customer complaints
• Regularly visit clients to deliver housing support and guidance
• Work collaboratively with other teams across the Housing Needs Service

Requirements:
• Strong background in homelessness legislation
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and professionals
• Strong working knowledge of Northgate and Locata HPA2
• Up-to-date CV (with no unexplained gaps – all dates must be specific)
• Right to work in the UK (Passport, Visa, Biometric Residence Card)
• National Insurance Number
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
