About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Cardiff for an experienced Social Worker to join their dedicated Child Health & Disability Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference while developing your professional expertise. The team operates on a hybrid model, offering a mix of home working, agile flexibility, and access to local office space.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multi-agency professionals and families to support children with disabilities
• Complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquiries, and develop/review care & support plans
• Attend Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Reviews, and Court as required
• Provide specialist advice to the wider children’s services team on children with additional needs
• Participate in team duty rotas and regular team meetings
• Deliver high-quality written and verbal communication
• Offer peer support to newly qualified social workers

Requirements:
• Degree or Master’s in Social Work / Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within a Child Health & Disability Team
• Strong background working as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting children
