About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Torbay Council Children’s Services for an Experienced Social Worker to join the Care Proceedings Team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality social work interventions and support children, young people, and families involved in care proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a high-quality and effective social work service in line with statutory requirements, policies, and standards.
• Mentor and coach peers, including newly qualified social workers, promoting evidence-informed practice.
• Manage a varied caseload of complex work, ensuring timely and cost-effective interventions.
• Support and promote the core priorities of the Torbay Safeguarding Children’s Board.

Requirements:
• Minimum three years post-qualifying experience (PQE) in direct employment with an English local authority.
• Must not have left a permanent social work role within the past six months in a children’s services department or within a local authority in the South West region.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model: part remote (with suitable Wi-Fi and workspace) and part office-based in Torbay.
• Social Work England registration.
