💰 Rate/Salary: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role:
Supply Care Solutions is delighted to offer a new opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Connected Persons Team within the Fostering Service at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
The role will primarily focus on completing connected persons fostering assessments, supporting the council’s mission to provide safe and stable care arrangements for children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete connected persons fostering assessments to a high standard
• Manage up to 3 assessments at a time, ensuring timeliness and quality
• Work with families and connected carers to ensure the best outcomes for children
• Undertake visits, interviews, and assessments as part of the fostering process
• Collaborate with team members, managers, and multi-agency partners
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and fostering standards

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker (Degree/Diploma in Social Work or equivalent)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Must have direct experience in fostering and connected persons assessments
• Ability to manage caseloads and hit the ground running
• Enhanced DBS Certificate
• Car driver with access to own vehicle (essential)
• Ability to work hybrid (2 days in office, rest remote apart from visits)
