💰 Rate:
• Social Worker: £28.55 per hour
• Senior Practitioner: £30.57 – £33.30 per hour

About the Role:
We’re working with Staffordshire County Council to recruit passionate and dedicated Social Workers and Senior Practitioners for their Fostering East Team. You’ll join a dynamic and supportive team delivering a restorative approach that empowers families and promotes positive outcomes for children.

This is a full-time, hybrid role (37 hours per week) with flexibility for part-time or compressed hours.

Key Responsibilities:

🌟 Social Worker – £28.55 per hour:
• Conduct social work interventions, including risk assessments
• Support families in developing their own safety plans
• Promote child safety and family-centred solutions

🌟 Senior Practitioner – £30.57–£33.30 per hour:
• Provide day-to-day line management to social workers
• Promote use of Family Group Conferences and family meetings
• Deliver timely, high-quality assessments and reports for court and case conferences
• Lead on planning and monitoring activities for children and families
• Facilitate safe rehabilitation of children to family environments where appropriate
• Maintain accurate records in line with policy and ICS framework
• Support staff development and quality practice across the team

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
• Previous experience in Children’s Services
• Strong restorative and child-centred approach
• Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills
• Senior Practitioners must have leadership or mentoring experience
