About the Role:
Torbay Council is currently seeking qualified and experienced Children’s Social Workers for a rewarding role within their Operational Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact supporting children and families in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse caseload, including child protection, children in need, and court work
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs
• Deliver effective interventions and provide ongoing support to families
• Collaborate closely with multi-agency partners and internal teams
• Ensure that safeguarding procedures and best practices are followed

Requirements:
• Social Work England registration
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in children’s social care
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
