💰 Rate/Salary: £39,513 – £43,693 per annum

About the Role:
We are currently seeking qualified, passionate, and experienced Social Workers to join either our Children’s Locality Teams or Intake and Assessment Team in Wales. These are permanent positions offering flexible working and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
Applicants must have at least 2 years of UK statutory experience.

Children’s Locality Teams:
🔹 Work with children and families on a long-term basis, focusing on care planning, child protection, and permanency
🔹 Build meaningful relationships and deliver impactful interventions to support families through change
🔹 Based in three localities to enable staff to work closely with the communities they serve

Intake & Assessment Team:
🔹 Front-door service that is fast-paced, dynamic, and focused on making swift, evidence-based decisions
🔹 Undertake Well-being and Section 47 assessments and provide short-term interventions to improve safety within the home
🔹 Short-term case holding; long-term cases are transferred at the first planning meeting
🔹 Duty rota one week in every three

Requirements:
• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Care Wales
• At least 2 years’ experience in a UK statutory social work setting
• Car driver
• Strong working knowledge of Welsh legislation and child development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
