Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Setting

Pay: £25.00 PAYE p/h or £31.00 p/h Umbrella

Hours: Full time/Temporary 37 hours per week

Role expectations:

This role is based in Maythorn Residential Home, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Evening, Night and Weekend working is expected.

Essential:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the last 5 years in a relevant setting to the residential care of children (children and/or disabilities, preferably both)?
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a management position including management and supervision of staff?
• Willingness to register with Ofsted as the manager of the home, including the necessary processes to achieve this.  

Desirable:

• Background in leadership and management of residential care for children with disabilities, preferably as a registered manager.?
• Level 5 diploma in leadership and management for residential care or equivalent. If not held, Willingness to complete this.?
• Good working knowledge of the SCCIF and the children’s homes regulations?
• Experience of Ofsted Inspections

Compliance documents required:

• Up to date C.V (No unexplained gaps and dates specific)
• Right to work in the UK(Passport,Visa, biometric card etc)
• National Insurance Number
• Valid DBS certificate
