We are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our QSW Operational Services team, specializing in Safeguarding. Role Overview:
As a Social Worker within our Safeguarding team, you will play a crucial role in protecting and supporting children, young people, and adults at risk. Your operational experience will be key in assessing and managing cases, ensuring compliance with relevant safeguarding legislation, and providing timely interventions to safeguard individuals. You will work in close collaboration with other agencies to provide high-quality, effective support and protection for those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out safeguarding assessments and interventions for vulnerable individuals in line with legislation and council policies.
• Manage a caseload of complex safeguarding cases, ensuring timely and effective actions.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies.
• Provide advice, support, and guidance to families, carers, and professionals involved in safeguarding cases.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and case recording, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and development opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with significant operational experience in Safeguarding.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and provide appropriate interventions.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vulnerable individuals and diverse agencies.
• Experience working within a local authority safeguarding team (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
