Salary: £23.50 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 6-month contract
Hybrid Working: 2-3 days in the office

Brentwood Borough Council is seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role offers a hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases: Ensure appropriate, fast, and efficient responses to ASB and breaches of tenancy conditions, supported by effective action plans.
• Collaboration: Liaise with external agencies (Police, Social Services, Job Centre, etc.) to support tenancy sustainment and manage complex cases.
• Home Visits & Case Conferences: Carry out home visits and attend meetings/case conferences with statutory, voluntary, and external agencies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate written and electronic records of all casework using systems such as Microsoft Office, Nafn, Uniform, Orchard, and Locata.
• Team Participation: Actively contribute to the Estate Management team, including providing cover for colleagues and attending internal and external meetings.
• Community Safety: Support the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) and contribute to strategies and initiatives to address local community safety issues.

What We Need From You:

• Experience in dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour cases or similar roles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of agencies.
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining accurate case records and using relevant IT systems (Microsoft Office, Uniform, etc.).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Full compliance with health and safety standards and Equal Opportunities Policy.
