Telford and Wrekin Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Adult Social Worker to join the TICAT (Hospital Social Work Team) on Pathway 1. This role is ideal for a qualified social worker with a strong background in enablement services, care act assessments, Mental Capacity Act assessments, and Best Interests decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete Enablement reviews and Care Act assessments.
• Conduct Mental Capacity Act assessments and Best Interests decisions.
• Work using an asset-based approach and complete CHC checklists.
• Provide a person-centred approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain high standards of practice with a focus on client wellbeing.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified social worker with experience in enablement services.
• Experience with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Best Interests decisions, and asset-based approaches.
• Familiarity with CHC checklists and fast-paced work environments.
• Ideally, experience with the LAS system.
• Must have a valid driving license and access to a car.
