Job Overview

Senior Occupational Therapist for the Bromley Occupational Therapy Team to cover the winter period until March 31st 2025.

Flexible Working: Occupational Therapist will be expected to complete community visits to clients. The current hybrid arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Expenses: Locums can claim back mileage from their place of work to visits (this does not include travel from home to work).

About the Role and Team: The Occupational Therapy Team at London Borough of Bromley are seeking an enthusiastic and talented person to join our team.

The role will involve:

Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.

Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.

Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.

Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.

Assessing for and providing major adaptations. Current registration with HCPC is essential.
