  • Risk Management: Assess and manage risks in complex situations, balancing safety with the promotion of self-determination and enablement for service users.
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with other agencies, professionals, and service users, integrating diverse perspectives into practice to create effective and comprehensive care plans.
  • Specialized Knowledge and Leadership: Demonstrate specialized knowledge in one or more fields of social work practice. Provide expert advice, chair significant meetings, and participate in peer quality audits to promote best practices across the team.
  • Mentorship and Modeling Good Practice: Model exemplary social work practices and set high standards for colleagues, offering guidance, expert support, and mentorship as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong autonomy in case management, with the ability to work as a lead practitioner and integrate professional knowledge with service user perspectives and research evidence.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in multi-agency settings.
    • High-level risk assessment and risk management capabilities in complex situations.

Additional Details

  • Working Arrangement: Hybrid role with 2 days per week in-office at Darby House; remote working for the other 3 days unless duty responsibilities require office presence.
