Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the delivery of the Mentoring and Befriending Service Programme for children in care and care leavers.
• Recruit and support volunteers to drive the Birmingham Children’s Trust Corporate Parenting Strategy.
• Collaborate with various services within Birmingham Children’s Trust and partner organizations to ensure timely delivery of programs.
• Maximize opportunities for young people to engage in mentoring and befriending activities.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• A genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in social work, youth work, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle sensitive situations with empathy.
