Principle Building Control Surveyor needed in Bedfordshire.

JOB TITLE: Building Control Surveyor
SALARY: £50,085.00 – £54,047.00 per annum
TYPE: PERMANENT
HOURS: This is a Full time role

JOB PROFILE:

Applicants should be able to demonstrate an understanding of Building Control processes and experience working in a building control service. The work involves managing a range of building control duties to deal with varied projects in urban and rural locations around the Council area. We offer a hybrid working environment with a blend of local office hubs, site work and home working.

This role will work closely with colleagues, team members, our regulatory partners and our applicants and deals with regulatory compliance, enforcement, and all aspects of Building Regulations. We are currently seeking to recruit a BSR registered and experienced Class 2 F Building Control Inspector to evaluate applications and fees, carry out plan checking, site inspections, provide special Building Regulatory advice and investigate and enforce compliance.

You must have a degree (or equivalent qualification and experience) in Building Control Surveying and be eligible for BSR registration as a Class 2 building inspector. You will have strong communication skills and can show experience and evidence of working on a range of projects.
