SOCIAL WORKER job in North West England – Leaving Care team.

RATE: up to £42.00 ph (umbrella, depending on experience)
TYPE: LOCUM, ongoing for 6 months
TEAM: Leaving Care team
HOURS: 35 per week (mon-Fri)
CAR DRIVER: Essential

Job Requirements:
The Social Worker must be experienced in Children Looked After and Leaving Care, with some experience of working with UASC. Excellent engagement skills with young people is essential as well as key relationships with partners, pathway planning, good understanding of Housing, Education, Employment and Health to ensure the best possible services are provided to sustain a brighter future.

Qualified Social Worker Requirements

– CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
– Proven post qualifying experience in working with childrens services
– Current Social Worker England registration and enhanced DBS Disclosure
– Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
– Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
