Supply Care Solutions are looking for a SOCIAL WORKER job in South Wales – Children services

RATE: from £42.00ph (umbrella negotiable)
TYPE: LOCUM
TEAM: Children services
HOURS: This is a Full time role (37 hours per week)

The Social Worker would need to complete Assessments of Care and Support and undertake duties in accordance with our Local Authority duties to safeguard children. You may need to write Child Protection Case Conference Reports, attend Conference and present the information. Part of the role will need to assess risk within a family and liaise with Managers in the team if the risk is immediate and needs prompt action. IT equipment etc to be able to complete recordings/reports on the work will be provided.

Qualified Social Worker Requirements

– CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
– Proven post qualifying experience in working with childrens services
– Current Social Worker England registration and enhanced DBS Disclosure
– Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
– Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
