Supply Care Solutions are looking for a Children Assessment social worker needed in East London
SALARY: £38,890-£44,863 pa dependant on experience
HOURS: Full time
There are no set days that you can be at home or in the office, but you do need to be able to get on site, as and when needed.
The role will also involve dealing with very challenging contacts, meetings and responding to families that are in crisis. The job will involve working strictly to policy and procedures of the Children’s Services, involvement in extremely high risk decision making and the exercise of a high level of judgement and personal responsibility for the safety of children. It also involves to working to very demanding timescales. The post holder will be aware of and act within the legal framework for children and families will ensure that all case recording and monitoring are maintained at a high level.
Qualified Social Worker Requirements
– CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work and/or completion of ASYE or relevant PQ experience
– Current Social Worker England registration
– Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
– Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
– Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
