About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client in East Kent for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Children With Disabilities (CWD) Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled social work professional to manage a complex caseload of disabled children and young people aged 0–25, supporting them to live fulfilling lives and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities aged 0–25
• Assess, plan, monitor, and review the support and personal assistance needs of service users
• Work in a person-centred way to safeguard and promote the welfare of disabled children and young people
• Provide consultative and supervisory support to staff within a multi-agency environment
• Offer professional expertise and guidance in line with policies, procedures, and the Social Care Capability Framework
• Ensure effective use of resources to deliver safe, high-quality services

Requirements:
• Social Work England registration
• Recognised Social Work qualification
• Experience working within a CWD or similar statutory children’s team
• Car driver with access to own vehicle (essential)
• Strong assessment, supervision, and care planning skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and DfE guidelines
